​Whether you require a small patch, a minor re-stitch, or have entrusted us with altering your favourite coat or best suit, we will explain exactly how the work will be done, and provide you with any alternative methods you may wish to consider.

Must-See Approach

​We appreciate that you would like to know how much the costs are going to be. However, given garments vary with regard to fabric, finishing, construction and details, we always must see the item in question prior to giving an exact price.

Appointments

We are happy to make an appointment if you would like to visit us outside our opening hours. If you would like to come during our normal opening hours, there is no need to make an appointment.

Finding Us

You may have trouble locating us. We are next to the Ball pub, a commercial property in a block of residential flats, ​and opposite the row of shops where you might expect to find us. ​Please don’t hesitate to give us a call if you have any trouble locating us.

Free Customer Parking

This is between us and the Ball pub. Please drive all the way in.

Private Changing Room & Free Pinning Service

We have 2 changing rooms where you can try on any clothes that require pinning. There is no need to pin clothes prior to bringing them in, although we are happy to work from your measurements.

Original Finishing

​Unless you ask us to do differently, we always replicate the same finishing as was on the original item. So whether it's a pair of trousers with a split, or a suit with four buttons on the cuff, your item will look exactly the same on collection as when you dropped it off with us.

No Obligation Quote

Given we must see an item prior to giving an exact price, we understand there are occasions when we will pin your items, and you will then prefer to consider whether or not to go ahead with the work. As such, we can provide you with a free, accurate, no obligation quote, including a breakdown of costs, for you to take away and consider.

Turnaround

Our turnaround time is normally around two weeks, though we do offer an express service. If you need anything urgently, it's always better to call before coming in and we can let you know our current capacity.

Text/Email Messaging Service

Once your item is ready to collect, our system will automatically send you an email or text to let you know your order is ready. This means if we finish your work ahead of schedule, you will have the option to collect your order sooner.

Quality Guarantee

We encourage our customers to try on garments before taking them away, so we can ensure the fit is correct. If once you have collected your garments, you find that they do not fit as expected, you can bring them back within 14 days of the date stated on your receipt.
